Hi, Adam here. As you may have read, Kezi and I lost someone in 2021 - one of the most painful experiences we’ve been through.
And following a bunch of complications, we almost lost Kezi in the process.
It was during this time that we stumbled upon NFTs; these silly little cartoon pictures were about the only thing that would make her smile.
Not long before this, I had drawn some cartoon characters, one of them was Mort.
So I suggested, hey, why don’t we make a bunch of Morts, just for fun, just for something else to focus on.
So we did.
A handful of little Morts minted on Ethereum as a simple, small art collection. This is that collection.
These little Morts were made to help Kezi. And because they did, the idea for the Mortiverse was born, to help others find peace, calm and resilience, in profound new ways.
Those lucky enough to find and hold this original 'Mortified!' collection have the golden ticket: they will receive free-plus-gas access to future seasons of the Mortiverse… as well as owning a part of this story.
