Co-founders had a baby!

A personal message from the co-founder.

We know a lot of community members have been wondering how we’ve been doing over the last week or so, with our baby’s due date coming up.

Kezia and I are delighted to report that little baby Benji is now with us, and is both healthy and beautiful 😍

We arrived with us three weeks early due to a number of complications, and his birth was also riddled with complications. But we’re very lucky: Kezia is now stable again and back home, and while Benji will likely require another small operation in the future, he’s otherwise healthy and doing really well.

As a family, we’ve long been committed to building things we believe matter, as a team, alongside the wonderful friends we make along the way. We’re so excited for all the journeys we’re on together, from making Stoicism culturally accessible in profound ways with the Mortiverse community, to raising our tiny little fighter. He’s been a fighter throughout the entire year, and shows no signs of slowing down!

It has been a very long journey for us, and many in the community know about some of the trials and loss we’ve experienced as a family along the way. We’ve wanted this moment to come since around 2009, and we’re still struggling to come to terms with it: it’s really happened!

Thanks so much for all the well-wishes from the community. And thanks very much to team member, Wu, for relaying to us all of the community well-wishes I missed messages while in hospital.
