How do you make certain your project is a smash-hit with the right people?

There are a number of factors, but they all start with this one:

Make sure you’re building something that moves your choice of market along their inner-narrative (make their lives better in ways they’ve already decided to make better).

It’s the step many creators skip. It feels slow. It feels like you’re not “doing” something. So while we’ve been securing wonderful voice actors, musicians, labels, animations, game engines, and many other elements essential to an effective production, it all hinges upon one thing:

Does it resonate with our people?

Not just any people…

Not people someone else thinks should be our people…

Our people.

What do ‘our people’ look like?

They’re creators. They build. Some create on the side, others create full-time. They’re indie hackers. They’re content creators. They’re taking control of their lives. They want to make things happen. They want to make the world better in some small way.

They want to make their minds stronger because they know it’ll make them better creators, better parents, better equipped to do good, move fast and break things with a calm heart. They know it’ll help them operate effectively in high-stress environments, as well as find calm and peace in the small hours.

They grew up with SEGAs, Tamagotchis and TMNT comics. They know what a Furby is. They have a soft-spot for that era, and while they don’t really have much time for such things anymore, they carry lots of fond memories of it.

They’ve bought courses many times before. Courses on how to create better content. Courses on how to improve their mindset. Courses on the technical nuances of getting their website right or how to market their product.

To our people, the idea of being able to become calmer… more resilient… happier… more effective creators… free from the many anxieties of building things that might not work, in a noisy world of FUD and FOMO… is, in itself, a desirable one.

But being able to do that simply by watching cartoons and playing games? That feels unheard of, impossible, a pipe-dream barely worth spending time thinking about.

These are our people.

We’re creating for them.

And while over the months we’ve gotten to know them pretty well, the learning doesn’t stop there.

We want to know YOU better: The better we know you, the more in-jokes we’ll share. The better the content will be. The more effective the teaching will be. The games will play like your favourites. The cartoons will be as long as you want, covering the topics you want, with your kind of humour.

It all comes down to you.

So very soon, we’re going to start expanding our qualitative learning to include more of YOU. I want to talk to YOU, live on Zoom, and get to know YOU better.

Yes, that’s a lot of conversations, when we look across the landscape of those in the community and beyond. It’s already been a lot of conversations, and we’re loving every minute we spend getting to know you better.
